What is eRegistry Alberta?
The websites for your Renewal Reminder Service account (reminders.e-registry.ca), Automatic Vehicle Registration Renewal Service (www.autorenew.ca, renew.e-registry.ca), and one-time Express Vehicle Registration Renewals will all become one at eregistry.ca. All of your reminders, renewals, and vehicle registration orders will be handled at one convenient address.
What is changing?
We’ve changed the branding for our online services, so the website will look different from how it looks now. Your reminder emails and texts will look different, too. The refreshed website will be bright and user-friendly.
You will also need only one username and password to access all your online services. You can edit your reminders, renew your vehicle registration, and sign up for automatic registration renewals, all in one place!
When is this happening?
The new website will become active at the end of October, 2026.
What do I need to do?
Your reminders and renewals will keep working exactly as they do now. If an order for you is currently processing while we switch to the new system, it will continue to be processed without interruption. There’s no special set-up required from you, other than one simple step:
You’ll need to reset your password.
- The first time you log in to the new system you will be required to reset your password
- Your username will still be your email address.
- You may have to verify your email the first time you log in.
