What to do if you have an existing account
Your existing Renewal Reminder or Automatic Vehicle Registration Renewal account has been migrated to the new site for you. All you need to do now is set (or reset) your password!
The first time you log into the new site at eRegistry.ca, you'll see a prompt to create or change your password. Once you have entered your new password (and confirmed it), you should be ready to go!
Steps to create a new account
- When you go to eRegistry.ca, click the link that says Sign up for an account and you will be taken to the Create an Account page.
- Enter your email address and phone number, and first and last names.
- Choose how you would like to be contacted: by email or by SMS (text). You can choose one option, or both.
- Create your password and confirm it.
- Choose your registry. You can search by city, address, or postal code, or just pick a registry from the drop-down menu. Handy tip: When you choose a registry, the site will show you what delivery options that registry offers for registration renewals. Make sure to choose a registry that matches your needs!
- Click the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Click Create Account.
You will be sent an email containing instructions on how to verify your email to finish creating your account.
